Her eyes dart towards the door. The knocking is back, just barely. For the moment, she ignores it. In Mathias at night, when they were warned not to go out, that meant business. There would be monsters or something. Monsters don't knock, though, right?
"Sorry, this is…a lot. I'm Ellie," she says, realising she didn't actually tell him. He looks like he might vibrate through the floor with anxiety, and really? She can't blame him.
"Do you remember this place? This house? I have this weird feeling like…it's familiar."
