At least the guy is okay. And saving him felt... cool? Izutsumi never did figure out what she wanted to do with her life after their big adventure in the Dungeon, and she doesn't know if she feels particularly called to be a hero or whatever, but it's pretty cool to intervene and get to kick something.
She wonders if this whole situation -- being trapped in a weird town -- can be solved by kicking something. Maybe? She'd just have to find the right person.
"Do you know where we are?" she asks the guy, arms folded over her chest, tail flickering in irritation behind her. "Because I woke up on some couch with some stupid clown thing talking at me. And now there's things called 'bots', whatever they are." She lifts her head, staring past the guy's shoulder, eyes narrowed. "And I think there's more coming."
